OVERVIEW
This is a 1-hour, web-based training session exclusively for career services personnel and other staff and faculty members from subscriber organizations. This event will provide attendees with a thorough explanation of how to best use the tools and information on Going Global for career development advice and research. Participants will have an opportunity to ask questions throughout this interactive session via audio line and live chat.
WHO MAY ATTEND
This training is open to Career Services, Faculty Members and Human Resources personnel employed by organizations who currently subscribe to Going Global's enterprise level services.
All others who attempt to register for this training will not be permitted to connect to the online event. Going Global is reviewing options for delivering training tools to others (e.g., students and individuals) who use or are interested in Going Global's services and we will publicize these tools when they are available.
DELIVERY
We will be using an online meeting service for this event. Connection details will be sent 24 hours and then one hour prior to the scheduled start time of the training session. You should plan on connecting to the online meeting website at least 5 minutes prior to the start time to ensure that you are logged in before the session begins.
The visual part of the training will take place via an online connection accessible by the link listed below, and the audio part of the training will take place via a phone connection accessible by dialing into the phone number(s) listed below or you may connect via your computer if you have a VoIP (Voice Over IP telephone) connection.
SCHEDULE
There may be several other organizations participating in this training session so the online meeting will start promptly at its scheduled time. Training is scheduled to last for 60 minutes to allow time for practical examples of how to use Going Global and answer your questions about our content and tools.
ATTENDANCE LIMITS
Multiple attendees may view the event through a single connection. However, if multiple people from a single organization wish to attend using their own, personalized connections, each person must register for the event.
